Residential Composting
Composting at home shouldn't be complicated. Our residential curbside service makes it simple for Memphis households to keep food waste out of landfills. We provide two collection buckets and handle pickups, transport, and composting. Each week, our team collects the full compost bucket and replaces it with a clean, sanitized one, so you never have to worry about washing containers or dealing with odors. As part of the program, members also receive finished compost twice a year, returning nutrients back to your soil and closing the loop locally.
Residents can compost far more than most people expect, including:

Our commercial partners include restaurants, cafés, hotels, schools and institutions, and food production facilities. We provide containers, regular pickup schedules, and diversion tracking to help businesses reduce waste and demonstrate measurable impact.
At each scheduled pickup, our team swaps out your full compost cart for a clean, sanitized one, ensuring your staff always has a fresh container ready to use. This simple system keeps operations efficient while helping maintain cleanliness and consistency in busy kitchen environments.
Event composting
Festivals, conferences, markets, and community events can contribute significantly to food waste. The Compost Fairy works with event organizers to divert food scraps from landfills and ensure organic materials are composted properly. Event composting services may include:
